Over 400 people attended the online symposium on 21 June, celebrating the UN International Day of Yoga, held by the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Indian Traditional Sciences. The symposium was supported by the High Commission of India in the UK, and the panel of speakers included prominent parliamentarians, senior diplomats, the High Commissioners of India and Sri Lanka, revered spiritual and faith leaders, and eminent scientists and academics.
Armajeet Bhamra, Secretary of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Indian Traditional Sciences, moderated the event.
Keynote speaker Tony Nader, MD, PhD, MARR spoke on the subject of “One Unbounded Ocean of Consciousness.” Dr Nader highlighted the profound value of Yoga and Indian traditional sciences in raising consciousness on a global scale and providing practical answers to the big questions in life.
